IP address so you can begin using your site on our server.
How do I get a domain name?

Yes! And we don't charge for this service - it's FREE! We do ask that
you check the availability first,and then we will register it in our name, but then

LISTED IN YOUR NAME ON INTERNIC YOU MUST REGISTER IT AT THE SIGN UP PAGE!
Registering a domain name is very easy; anyone with access to the Internet can do it. Just

How long does it take before my domain name is
active?
Once the Network Solutions announces that your domain name has been
registered (or transferred, if applicable), it usually takes about 48 hours before it is
active. All internet providers must update their records (DNS tables) to reflect new site
locations.
How do I transfer files to my web site ?
Files must be transferred to the web server via File Transport Protocol
(FTP). If you have a PPP internet account and need FTP software, you can download a
program for the PC from our site. CuteFTP is VERY easy to use, and has a very
intuitive, easy to use interface. The lower left panel is YOUR COMPUTER - the lower right
panel is THE REMOTE SITE - in this instance, your Sites Hosting ftp site. Everything is
drop and drag - to upload, drag the appropriate file from the left panel to the right
panel. To download a file on the remote server, simply reverse the process - drag the file
on the remote server - lower right hand panel - over to the lower left panel. Easy!
Will I have unlimited access to update my pages ?
You have unlimited access via FTP to your site over the Internet 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. You can "upload" files to your site - in other
words, transfer files from your computer to the Sites Hosting webserver on the Internet -
and you can also "download" files from your site - in other words, transfer
files from your site on the Sites Hosting webserver, to your computer.
Can I use my account for commercial purposes ?
Yes, you can use your account for commercial purposes. The World Wide
Web has become a most efficient and cost-effective means of making information available
to the users of the internet community. If desired, secure server is available which
provides an environment whereby payment information (such as a credit card number) can be
transmitted from web browser to web server in an encrypted mode.
Can I resell space within my own account?
No. You are not able to sell space from your account. You
will have to buy a reseller account found at http://www.siteshosting.com/reseller/
